World Squash Day IS going ahead this year after all. Saturday, October 14th is the date.
Organiser Alan Thatcher is taking a much-needed break to deal with some family health issues and so it is up to clubs and federations to organise their own events to promote the game.
Huge thanks to our Canadian friend Robert Pacey from Squash Republic for designing the beautiful logo and providing the energy and enthusiasm to keep World Squash Day on the calendar.
Our target is a simple one: to encourage clubs to hold events to repopulate the grassroots of the game the world over.
We have lots of noisy neighbours in the racket sports sector and it’s time for squash to turn up the volume to remind the world what a brilliant, fun and healthy sport we have.
If you are holding an event, please share your ideas on our Facebook and X (Twitter) pages. On the day, please post news and pictures there as well.
