“Rally for Squash” – World Squash Day 2026 Theme Officially Announced
The global squash community is being called upon to unite and celebrate the sport as the theme for World Squash Day 2026 is officially announced as ‘Rally for Squash’ to echo the Rally28 initiative.
Rally28 is a global campaign to unite the squash community ahead of its Olympic debut and transform that Olympic opportunity into lasting change, and ensuring that the sport leaves something meaningful behind for years to come.
World Squash Day 2026 is the ultimate platform for players, coaches, fans, and federations to get behind the movement and make the absolute most of this incredible Olympic opportunity.
To mark this momentous milestone on the road to LA28, World Squash Day 2026 will play host to the biggest ever global team squash match in the history of the sport, and clubs across the world are being called to get involved.
This year’s World Squash Day (Saturday 10 October) will look to unite clubs from every continent in an unprecedented display of community, passion, and competitive fun. It is a chance to show the world the sheer scale, diversity, and unity of the squash community as we build towards the Olympics.
Robert Pacey, World Squash Day’s new Director, noted that “The 2026 edition of World Squash Day is gearing up to be the biggest one day celebration of squash ever! We’re honoured to have the support of World Squash and look forward to teaming up with the PSA, Squash United Foundation, and Rally28 to get the whole world together to Rally for Squash!”
Head of the Squash United Foundation Adriana Olaya said: “World Squash Day is the perfect celebration of the squash community and that’s exactly what Rally28 is all about. This year, it will be the first worldwide celebration of Rally28, uniting clubs, players, fans and Ralliers ahead of LA28. We have something special planned that will give everyone, everywhere, the chance to take part — trust me, you’ll want to be on a team.”
